Why are we doing this
- We love supporting projects that solve tough problems or improve the game development scene for Indie Developers.
What will you receive
- Grants range from $5,000 to $50,000, and cover a variety of endeavors from game development, publishing and game education initiatives.
- No matter what size grant you receive, you will continue to own your IP and will be free to publish however you wish.
What can I use the money for
- Whatever will make your project successful. We want to hear about how you plan to use the funds to ensure that things are inline with what Indus Grant wants to encourage.
- If your planned use of the funds changes over the course of your project, that is perfectly fine.
- You will receive the entire grant amount in a single payment.
Taxes
- The Indus Grant may have tax implications for you.
- We recommend you check with a tax professional familiar with your local tax laws to understand the tax implications to you.
Do I have to return this money or provide equity in return
- Absolutely not. We will never ask you to pay back any money that has been paid to you under Indus Grant.
- This is not an investment on our part, nor is it a loan. This is our way to give back to our game developer community and help create excellence.
What do I do in Return
- Simply put, we succeed when you succeed. We want to help you focus more on the creation of your game and worry less about keeping the lights on.
- We will require that you credit the Indus Grant and say a Special Thanks to "Charlie" in your credits and social media. Our dog changed our lives and we want to continue to thank him.
- We will require you to sign a mutual NDA and Confidentiality agreement on receipt.
- We will also feature you in our upcoming podcasts and will request your time when appropriate to speak to other Grant Awardees
- When you succeed, please do this for others, it will make the world better.

- Roby John, Sujeet Kumar and Rishi Alwani are folks that you can speak to about Indus itself.
